“Beauty, Pleasure, a sense of community… because working together makes us stronger and safer” this is the motto which has been driving the volunteers in charge of this garden since 2017.
They have been taking painstaking care of some 5 acres of previously uncultivated area, eventually turning it into a beautiful facility with walkways, benches, several trees, a vegetable garden, a flower meadow for bees, and a dog area. This garden is on via San Faustino, between Lambrate railway station and the Ortica district, and it also features some beautiful specimens of Eastern and Asian plants.
Six associations of private volunteers have thoroughly planned and brought to life a beautiful example of biodiversity, plunged into the very heart of a busy urban district.
