The San Fantino farm and inn is located in the town of  San Giovanni a Piro, in Cilento, an area characterised by the presence of nature, fishing villages on the coast and of farmers on the mountains, with a wild coast accessible only on foot and by boat, mountains of 1890 m in the vicinities of the sea, fields, vine yards, olive tree groves and dense forests with Cilento’s National Park, which has been part of Unesco since 1998. The flora of the area has the highest biodiversity in Europe, with more than 170 different species of wild orchids and 90% of wild culinary and therapeutic herbs.

The owner, Sebastiano Petrilli, after 20 years of working in banks and as consultant and entrepreneur in London, decided some years ago to move to the family propriety, which was abandoned, and he started to experiment farming-biological-biodynamic and synergic practices, in order to live thanks to products of the land, which are produced sustainably and living space for wild animals and plants.

Nowadays, the farm San Fantino produces extra virgin olive oil, wines (wine Jacine, Black Pinot and San Fantino Rosso), myrtle, limoncello, nocino, marmalades, wild flower honey, tomato puree and much more.

The propriety disposes of 30 hectares, divided into 5 different areas next to each other, with an ancient rustic palace, with a big farm and other 8 buildings of various dimensions, which will be refurbihed in the next years.

The principal farm, San Fantino, is located at the borders of the Medieval town of San Giovanni a Piro and 5 Km away from Scario, with its attractive port and seafront: it extends for 5 hectares in which an old farm is located and used as an inn, with seven bedrooms. During mid-season (March-June and September-November) the inn is also used to organise cooking, yoga, marine biology, diving, foraging, painting bridge classes.

The other farms are  Jacine,of about 7 hectares at the foot of Mount Bulgheria(1.250 above the sea level), where the vine yards of black Pinot are located; Corrado, of about 3 hectares located above the marina of Scario; Masseta, of about 16 hectares located along the coast and accessible only by boat or on foot;Ciolandrea, of about 1 hectare above the cliffs facing the sea.
