Built in 1980, this botanical garden was created by its current owner Luciano Viatori, who has always been extremely fond of botany and gardening.
The garden stretches over more than 6 acres along the Groina Stream.
It features consolidation structures, paths, stairways and wooden bridges. There is also a pond, inside the crater made by a bomb from the Great War, and a falling water irrigation system. The garden contains several plant collections arranged in the English landscape style.

It develops along three terraced levels: the entrance is located in the upper part of the property, where a paved path leads to the house and the shady azalea valley.
From the large lawn in front of the house, visitors can easily reach the water lily pond and the rose garden. The lower level is located on the south-western side, accessible through an underground staircase which also leads to the best observation point in the garden.

Plant species include rhododendrons (Rhododendron spp.), and azaleas (Rhododendron spp.), collections of common lilac (Syringa Vulgaris), hydrangeas (Hydrangea spp.), spireas (Spiraea spp.), viburnums (Viburnum spp.), sweet osmanthus (Osmanthus fragrans), peonies (Paeonia spp.), climbing roses (Rosa spp.), prunus fruit trees (Prunus spp.), and apple trees (Malus spp.). There are also some 100 magnolias (Magnolia spp.).

Among herbaceous, perennial and bulbous plants, with bright and contrasting colours, there are many other species like phlox, candytufts, heather (Erica spp.), snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis), daffodils (Narcissu spp.), iris (Iris spp.), daylilies (Hemerocallis), plantain lilies (Hosta), sage (Salvia spp.), poppies (Papaver roheas), lily of the Nile (Agapanthus), asters (Aster spp.), sword lily (Gladiolus spp.), lilium (Lilium spp.), dahlia (Dahlia spp.), and cyclamen (Cyclamen spp.).
