Born in Switzerland, Julia Artico spent her childhood in Verona and then moved to Friuli. She’s a great artist who creates suggestive sculptures with hay, “listening” to the mysterious whispers of Mother Nature. She likes creating mostly animal figures (cows, dogs, piglets, rabbits, flocks, geese), human shapes, and musical instruments. Her unique creations are simply irresistible and poetic, magically set between reality and fairy tales.
