The Path of Wine

“Strada del Vino” (“The Path of Wine”) is an educational path that winds across orchards, vines, fields, meadows and several villages, including Cortaccia.
Viticulture has been practised in this area since Roman times, mainly thanks to the warm climate; today, there are several wineries that still produce fine red and white wines.
The whole path very easy to follow, starting from Cortaccia, thanks to several wooden signs with the words “Saltner Pratze”: it will take visitors to the most renowned vineyards in this area, where “Schiava”, “Gewurztraminer”, “Moscato rosa”, “Merlot” and “Lagrein” grapes are grown. It is also possible to do a complete tour with a local guide.
