Val di Funes (Villnößtal), which branches off from the famous Valle Isarco (with a total length of just 15 miles), is in a quiet area of Trentino-Alto Adige, almost untouched by man and full of undoubted charm and breathtaking views.

It is one of the most visited places in South Tyrol, also thanks to its perfect observation spots where visitors can enjoy magnificent sights of the peaks of Odle di Eores, Odle di Funes, and “Sass Rigais” (9.924 ft).

Val di Funes is a real piece of paradise on Earth for any mountain enthusiast; again, rocky spikes and peaks appear in all their glorious splendour with ocher, pale, pink or copper red shades at different times of the year, while this valley is a very popular destination for sportsmen and tourists looking for relaxation, excursions, climbing, trekking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and skiing. In the valley, there is also one of the most important natural parks of South Tyrol: Puez-Odle (see dedicated page).
