Medioli Garden, overlooking Orvieto valley, is characterized by its naturalness, in harmony with the theories and the very dictates of the English romantic gardens – appreciated and theorized by Ercole Silva. The latter, in his “About the art of English gardens”, regarded nature as the perfect inspiration for creating to create spontaneous gardens, well-cared for and much better designed than the common formal ones. Thus, empty spaces are alternated with full ones, lush with vegetation and thick with foliage.

Owned by the screenwriter Enrico Medioli, this garden offers several different landscapes and many evocative sights, such as the beautiful fountain at the end of the boxwood avenue (Buxus sempervirens), the outdoor room around a monumental specimen of cedar (Cedrus spp.), the large meadow surrounded by roses, and tall deciduous and evergreen tree species, reminiscent of the woods.
