In Brufa, on some of the most important hills in the world for oenology, there is the “Wine and Art” Route. In that small village, which belongs to the municipality of Torgiano, several artists from Italy and the rest of the world have been invited since 1987, to create a dynamic exhibition space aimed at emphasizing the union between sculpture and the landscape.
Each artist has independently chosen the context and the location for every single work of art, contributing to the very expansion of this peculiar exhibition “gallery”.
Today, there are 26 works on display, made by internationally renowned artists like Pierucci (1987), Sforna (1988), Pizzoni (1989), Miniucchi (1990), Giuman (1991), De Felice (1992), Liberatore (1993), Caruso (1994), Sguanci (1995), Mastroianni (1996), Carroli (1997), Lorenzetti (1998), Roca-Rey (1999), Carrino (2000), Giuliani (2001), Marotta (2002), Mattiacci (2003), Staccioli (2004), Trubbiani (2005), Cascella (2006), Magnoni (2007), Brook (2008), Corsucci (2009), Consolation (2010) ), Pepper (2011), and Marangoni (2012).
