This park is basically a large pine forest in north-east Sassari (Monte Rosello district), established about 70 years ago, after a fire that had totally destroyed the original spontaneous vegetation. Covering some 25 acres, the park hosts several pine specimens and an undergrowth of the very original plants, recently restored and reintroduced.

Today, Baddimanna Park is a large area equipped with a cycle-running track and bicycle racks. There are also some picnic areas with benches and tables. The section near the bar and restaurant have been equipped with play areas for children. There is also a masonry stage that often hosts theatrical performances, concerts, and film screenings.

Inside the park, there is the Monument to the WWI infantrymen of the Sassari Brigade.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
