Grown in the countryside of Bassano, these pink onions weigh from 4.23 to 7 oz., with a diameter of about 2.75/3.15 in. They feature a sweet taste and a pink colour that used to be darker and more intense, but it is now quite faded.

These onions are sown after mid-August, until mid-October. The harvesting of the early onions begins at the end of May and goes on until mid-June. That of the late-type begins at the end of June and lasts until the end of August. The onions should then be stored between 32° and 50° F, away from light to prevent unwanted germination.
