The Botanical Garden of Mount Baldo, also called the Novezzina Scientific Natural Park, is located within the Local Natural Park of Mount Baldo, in Novezzina, in the territory of the municipality of Ferrara di Monte Baldo.
It covers an area of about 4.94 acres, at an altitude of about 3.937 ft. It gathers hundreds of native species of Mount Baldo, arranged in micro-environments and ecosystems extremely similar to the original ones: from the rocks to the beech forest, to the pastures, and the wetlands.
Several endemic species can be seen like Campanula petraea, Primula spectabilis, Carex baldensis, and Phisoplexis comosa. These species survived, isolated, on Monte Baldo during the glaciations. They grew above the level of the Garda and Adige glaciers, while elsewhere they disappeared due to the ice).
There are also some species of orchids and others, perhaps less striking but no less important plants.

This facility also includes a shelter for picnics and an observatory. The most recent path is also accessible to differently-abled people.
