Botanical garden of Ome / Botanical garden of conifers

The Botanical Garden of the conifers is in the valley of the Fus River, on a most pristine landscape where civilization seems to have just arrived. The idea of designing a botanical garden has proved exceptionally right ever since its inception, and a lot of time has been dedicated to its realization and constant care.
On the very “Pradizì del Paradis” (“meadow of paradise”), science, politics, illuminated thoughts, and ingenious work have met with the final goal of creating sheer natural beauty.
In the Botanical Garden, also known as the Conifer Botanical Garden, there are seven families of trees (Pinacee, Taxodiacee, Cupressacee, Taxacee, Cefalotaxacee, Araucariacee, and Podocarpacee), and 82 different species, each of which is represented by at least two specimens.
