This post is also available in: Italiano (Italian)
The collection of roses at the Botanical Garden of the University of Pavia is divided into three areas: wild roses, ancient roses, and modern hybrids.
In the first section, there are, for instance, Rosa pendulina, European and Rosa primula, and Chinese.
In the second, there are some Noisettes such as ”Boule de Neige”, or the Damaskus variety “Gloire de Guilan“, while among the modern hybrids visitors can admire the wrinkled ”Max Graf” or the floribunda “Centenaire de Lourdes”.
