Inside the Garden of Biodiversity, which since 2014 has joined the oldest, still active, university garden (opened in 1545), many orchid species (including tropical and spontaneous varieties) have found their ideal living environment. Some orchids are still cultivated in the historic part of the Garden.
The Garden hosts tropical horticultural hybrids, with large and showy flowers, as well as spontaneous species with smaller flowers but undoubtedly evocative.
