Casina Andretta

In the heart of Valle della Cupa, in the fiefdom between Monteroni and Lecce, there’s Casina Andretta: the original building, dating back to 1600 and used for agricultural activities, was modified in 1800 and also transformed into a holiday resort for the wealthy Martina family: the owners built an elegant and simple arched portal with three arches (the central one acting as the main entrance).
In the 1920s, this building was used as a winery; it was then abandoned in the 1940s and eventually restored and opened to the public in 2013.
It is surrounded by tree-lined avenues and gardens of delights.
