Claudio Bonetto Nursery

Claudio Bonetto, a painter and an amateur photographer, was always passionate about plants and gardens; unfortunately, he’s recently passed away, but he is still regarded as the greatest expert on stonecrop (Sedum) in Italy.
In his nursery, he collected 180 species, including different varieties from all over the world (including the Alps, Austria, China, Canada, Pakistan, Mexico, and Russia). Rustic, frugal and a very strong perennial species, stonecrop loves the sun, does not fear the colds and the wind, while it can thrive on sandy soil and with very little water.
Stonecrop is ideal for walls, low-maintenance gardens and carpeting of green roofs.
