Fondo Waterfall

In Traversella, a town of just 350 inhabitants in the province of Turin (more precisely, in the hamlet of Fondo), there’s a waterfall with an ancient humpback bridge that ends in a basin with green and crystal-clear water.
Right there, surrounded by wild and unspoiled nature, the vegetation offers some relief from the summer heat.
In winter, the snow covers the mountain and also the bridge, creating an enchanting and most evocative sight. In the village, there is also a small restaurant which offers typical Piedmont homemade dishes.
