The Franciacorta Sculpture Park was founded in 2000 in Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta; it celebrated the beginning of the new millennium, representing the last phase of a project devised to enhance the works by Terra Moretti Group, which launched the Third Millennium International Sculpture Award.
The project involved young artists from all over the world, who competed for a highly-coveted prize: the permanent exhibition of one of their works inside this very park.
It is a true open-air museum, where art and nature coexist on more than 148 acres of parkland.
Works of art made of stone, marble, iron, concrete, steel, and glass magically blend with the surrounding natural elements creating some eye-catching consistency, along with light-and-shadow effects that never fail to mesmerize the visitors.
The exhibition tour may ideally end with some wine tasting in one of the many local facilities on the beautiful Franciacorta Wine Route.
