Garda Olive Oil

Thanks to its particular geographical location, with a Mediterranean microclimate, Lake Garda is one of the northernmost areas of Italy and Europe, which has been exploited for centuries for the cultivation of olive trees.
Those olives are manually or mechanically harvested around mid-January and are pressed within 5 days. The Garda olive oil features a green colour with golden reflections, a balanced and light taste (bitter and spicy), and low acidity, which makes it suitable for salted meat and lake fish dishes.
