Giardino Comunale di Villa Torlonia

It is located in Torlonia square, in Avezzano (AQ), the Council Garden – recently refurbished , was designed by the engineer Giulio Del Peolo Parsi on request of the Torlonia Family at the end of the 19th century, in order to complete villa, which was nearly destroyed by the 1915 earthquake. Nowadays, it is divided into three sectors. At the centre there is an enormous fountain. All around there are tall trees and hedges of boxwood, ivy, privet and yew.
