Giardino Del Chiostro is a farm and an instructional facility built inside the monastery of Saint George dating back to the beginning of the XIII century.
South-west of Cividale del Friuli, this farm was built on the left bank of the Natisone River, next to a strategic ford and right outside the walls of the city.
Two-thirds of the cultivated area are surrounded by ancient walls, while the rest of it majestically overlooks a the Natisone River.
The bio-cultivation method is officially certified and fully respects the natural biodiversity according to the laws of permaculture.
The farm is also specialized in horticultural production, made possible by a painstakingly researched synergy between the garden environment and aromatic, officinal herbs.
