On the hills of Acitrezza, there’s the Green Hills garden, designed by the landscape architect Ermanno Casasco in 1993, to finalize a new structure used for receptions and weddings.

Made of dunes, exotic plant species and small streams, the garden overlooks the Sicilian Ionian coast: it looks like a natural oasis where to seek rest and relaxation, away from urban chaos.
The large space has been divided into different areas, similar to real green “rooms”, crossed by small streams and decorated with pools and fountains. The land has been redesigned with undulations covered with turf, terraces, and paved paths; a large gazebo is surrounded by palm trees and flower borders; the vegetation mainly consists of exotic plant species.
