Hydrophyllum is a small nursery that cultivates and reproduces water lilies, lotus flowers and aquatic plants. The staff of professionals include Fabio Cartolaro, Linda and Marco.
Fabio, the garden curator since 1984, is always available to discuss and help customers make the best decision and choices. He deals with the maintenance of the nursery and the design and construction of gardens, decorative ponds and bio lakes.
Linda, who’s followed in her father’s footsteps, has always been absolutely mesmerised by the colors of lotuses and water lilies; she is in charge of the administrative management and maintenance of the nursery, shipments, and potted plants. She also manages the company’s website and is the contact person for the organization of events.
Marco, a garden curator, collaborates with “Il Vivaio” to set up booths at various events and he’s truly a hard-working person. He deals with maintenance and in particular with the pruning of large and valuable trees, with non-invasive, tree-climbing techniques
This nursery offers, in particular, water lilies, Nelumbo>/em>, water irises, and oxygenating marsh plants for wet and crawling soils. The nursery also designs and builds water gardens, bio pools and phytodepuration systems.
Worth knowing: the nursery takes its name from Hydrophyllum virginianum, a plant that lives both in the woods and near the waterways and therefore well represents the two worlds of this facility, land and water.
