Il Molino di Grace

Molino di Grace is a winemaking farm located in the very heart of the prestigious Tuscan Chianti area, in Panzano, in the province of Florence.
It is actually named after the owner of the whole estate, Frank Grace, an American entrepreneur who bought the land in 1995, along with its XIX century mill (“molino”). Established also thanks to the help of Judy, Frank’s wife, this winemaking company now covers more than 130 acres which include vineyards and woods. Old vines have been restored, new ones have been planted and a modern wine cellar has been built in the ruins of the old barn – the company has now been in business since 1999.
These vineyards had already been producing fine grapes for 350 years, but only since 1995, they have been used for fragrant and aromatic wines sold directly from this new company.
Molino di Grace constantly seeks elegance and enhancement of Sangiovese heritage. Constant research and eco-sustainable techniques are the true vital features of this winemaking facility. Not to mention crop protection products of strict biological origin and superficial ploughing (to a maximum depth of 17.7 inches) every 3 years.
Sin 2008, the pruning waste has also been used to power the heating and the air conditioning system.
