La Court Artistic Park

Created by Michele Chiarlo in 2004, inside the Aluffi estate, La Court Artistic Park is a real open-air museum that extends among rows and rows of vineyards with installations by leading international artists.
It is arranged along a creative itinerary that runs across the hills, connecting the ancient castle-farmhouse with the agricultural facility of La Court; it, therefore, features constantly moving landscapes with intriguing sculptures like the works of art by Emanuele Luzzati from Genoa, some exhibition areas, and installations dedicated to the four natural elements, as well as spaces for meditation permanently created within the vineyard.
Such peculiar initiative has already received several prestigious awards, such as the 2004 Bica Award (Biennial of Environmental Communication in the Business and Culture area), the national competition that since 1997 has been focused on companies investing in culture and promoting their own territory. Last but not least, the “Quality design interventions in Asti and Monferrato” award, instituted by the Piedmont Region in agreement with the Landscape Observatory, is now another major recognition granted to this peculiar park.
