All around Museo di Ca’ la Ghironda a magnificent park extends itself for 10 hectares. Inside it, it is possible to admire more than 15,000 tall and short plants, fruit trees, flowers and bushes, implanted in order to create a harmonious connection between art and nature, agriculture and good taste. The park hosts 210 sculptures of different materials, which were made by the most important artists of our century, and are dislocated on a hill. Surrounded by the scent of seasonal fruits and nature and art’s colours, it is not difficult to spot hares, pheasants or squirrels and other small specimens of native fauna, which nest and breed here. Because of them, the trees and bushes of the park are not deprived of their fruits in order to guarantee their sustenance, so they remain uncontaminated to allow the continuation of the food chain. It is not only a thriving garden or a wonderland park, but also a place of deep humanity, which encloses and supports a sober and original equilibrium between art and nature.
