This nursery is in Castelrotto (Bz) – Val Isarco – just below Alpe di Siusi. It was opened by Martha and Richard Mulser in 1982, where the Pflegerhof farm used to be and produced cereals.
The nursery is specialized in the production of medicinal and aromatic plants.
Over 500 species are organically grown from the very seeds collected around the farm and sown in a warm greenhouse, in January.

The different species are mixed together so that they can help each other growing, while flowers are harvested by hand and herbs are cut with a special mower. Flowers and herbs are dried, using a wood boiler and turned into herbal teas, aromatic salts, vegetable cubes, syrups, scented bags, pillows and bath soap; not to mention a wide range of excellent creams, oils, shampoos and ointments produced in an external laboratory and sold in the nursery shop.

Today, the farm and the nursery are run by Martha Mulser and her daughter Cristin.

Throughout the year, it is also possible to buy the seeds of the cultivated plants and from May to October the seedlings, in pots. In the months of July and August, Pflegerhof nursery is also open to the visitors.
