Architects Benedetta Pellizzi and Ivo Poli work together and create handcrafted ceramics, painstakingly following the entire production process, from casting to firing. Thoroughly respecting the consolidated professionality of the Ivo family, those two artists use their great passion to rediscover, study and create shapes, colours and decorations, making their works of art more and more interesting, unique and modern.
Both classic and innovative creations in terracotta, ceramic or majolica are made entirely by hand with a clever mix of clay from Impruneta – this special material is cooked at a temperature of 960 C° and can also be used in other areas subject to lower temperatures.
Benedetta and Ivo create vases, decorations, and furnishing elements often featuring floral and animal themes. Their drinking troughs for birds, shaped like lotus flowers, are particularly exquisite, not to mention little decorative insects and snails.
