Since 1976, Pedro Minto, an Italian professional born in Buenos Aires, has been dealing with flower bulbs. In his Raziel nursery (the name of the angel capable of impossible feats), established with his wife Antonella Bonato, Pedro cultivates bulbs, tubers, corms, and flowering rhizomes, including a rich collection of narcissus, ancient and contemporary, as well as 480 different varieties of Lilies of the Nile (Agapanthus).

The nursery also offers some open-day visits, to see the blooming bulbs in different seasons; hands-on training is available as well, along with instructional courses on use, cultivation, management, conservation and research of Agapanthus and bulbs in general.
