Robert Baden-Powell Park

This is a green area not far from the city center, between the Naviglio Grande and Via Argelati. It was created in 2005 and is dedicated to the founder of the worldwide movements of Scouting and Guiding: Robert Baden-Powell.

Several spaces formerly occupied by shacks and various activities were thus recovered and decorated with beautiful trees, green lawns, and an overall pleasant and relaxing look.
There are field and curly maples, sweetgum, magnolias, flowering pear trees, cherry trees, red oaks, tall ashes, and Japanese sophora. Fragrant wisteria is also a common sight in the park.
This public facility is more than 7-acre wide and also offers a playground, two areas for dogs, two artificial grass bowling alleys, and a winding pedestrian path partly covered by a nice pergola.
