Rye Bread

Rye bread is very popular throughout the Trentino Region and it’s made rye flour.
Usually available in elongated loaves of variable size and weight, it features a nice dark colour, a crunchy rind, and a firm, soft crumb. When there’s 70% of rye flour in the dough, this type of bread would be sold in a round loaf as that very shape sensibly affects the very leavening process.

Rye bread is available also enriched with toasted pumpkin seeds (on its surface or inside).
