Segantini Park

This park was opened in 2010, on 25 acres of reclaimed land between Viale Liguria and Via Segantini. It now lays on the very area formerly used by Serotherapeutical Institute.
The park was created thanks to the agronomist Carlo Maria Marinoni, helped by architect Michel Desvigne. The park features a grove and large green spaces; to the west, it runs alongside the Boniforti Canal with a cycle path running along its banks.
The most interesting part of the park the three fenced areas with vegetable gardens, and fenced flower gardens boasting different colors: mostly yellow, red, and blue. The Association of the Segantini Park, made of many enthusiasts from Milan Zone 6, currently manages those three areas.
