This farm stands among Solarino, Floridia and Pachino, in the province of Siracusa. It was established by Giuseppe Larosa more than 50 years ago, then passed to his son Carmelo, while today it is managed by his very young nephew Giuseppe.
The company covers an area of 25 acres, including about 4.000 plants such as “Tarocco” and “Naveline” orange trees, lemon groves (bloom three times from October to September), clementines, cedars, and pink grapefruits. There are also pomegranate trees, almond trees, olive trees, tomatoes, and assorted vegetables. Sicilia Agrumi also produces a very good extra virgin olive oil and a tomato puree. The products are not treated with any chemical additives and, not surprisingly, citrus peel is edible and also perfectly suitable for food preparations.
For a long time, this company has traded its traditional products, selling them to local wholesalers and distributors, but since 2018, it has approached the final consumer sector, breaking down the cumbersome distribution system: sales take place on-line, thanks to a dedicate portal at:
It is, therefore, possible to buy mixed boxes of 350 or 700 oz., including citrus fruits, vegetables and much more. Shipping by express courier (48 hours) is included for free, all over Italy.
