The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle features over 80 botanical environments, different themed sections, artistic pavilions and a true wealth of untainted nature, culture and art. In addition to a large number of collections, there are thousands of bulbous and annual plants, such as poppies, scorpion grasses, daisies, pansies and hoary stocks arranged into large monochromatic areas around the Gardens.

For instance, 10.000 violets have been arranged into a “cascade” of flowers which is part of the natural landscapes of North America and East Asia – a truly mesmerizing sight for all visitors!
