The Mouth of Giancola Canal
This post is also available in: Italiano (Italian)
The mouth of the Giancola Canal can be found near an ancient watchtower known as “Torre Testa”.
The canal widens into an area densely covered by reed (Phragmites australis) and interspersed by fairly large stretches of water. Proceeding from the mouth towards its source, the canal is bordered by reeds and dense Mediterranean scrub that covers high sandstone walls.
In the surroundings, there is the presence of cultivated and grassy areas.
