Truffleland Farm

Truffleland is a farm specialized in the cultivation of truffles. This business dates back to 1852, when Costantino Urbani started exporting fresh truffles to Carprentas (France), thus establishing a profitable trade that has been growing ever since. It quickly spread to other parts of France, Germany, Switzerland and, at the same time, also to other regions in Italy.
Paolo Urbani Senior and then Carlo Urbani (the latter supported by the vital help of his wife Olga), not only became truffle growing pioneers in Italy, but also successful entrepreneurs who reorganized the company around the priceless local truffle-hunters.
Finally, Carlo’s sons Paolo and Bruno have recently introduced state-of-the-art equipment and technologically advanced solutions.

The current Urbani generation (Olga, Carlo and Giammarco), has even established some representation branches abroad, as well as the Truffle Museum, the Truffle Academy and “Urbani Travel & Tours” travel agent. Olga’s children Luca and Francesco are currently running the sixth generation of truffle hunters and traders.
