A nursery specialised in the cultivation of unusual and perennial plants, ancient and historic roses, hortensia, climbing, graminaceous and ornamental plants.
Un Quadrato di Giardino, of Andrea Martini, is a small agricultural business in the province of Piacenza which produces, reproduces and sells herbaceous perennial plants. There are also various selections of bushes (among which there is an interesting catalogue of hortensias) and unusual climbing plants and a collection of ancient-historic roses.
Among the various species and genres, there is a selection of tested plants because of their peculiarity and longevity.
Other evaluation criteria are the resistance to intense freezing, low maintenance (plants which need a unique cleaning/pruning per year), the beauty of foliage, the flowering’s duration and the remontant one.
