In the historic heart of the city, on via Scaldasole 12, a shared garden has been recently created on an unused area belonging to a bank. Unlike other shared gardens, this one is therefore not on public land.

The CIVICI association (“Citizens Close to Citizens”), with enthusiast architects and sociologists among its members, has managed to involve a lot of frail and differently-abled people in the management of this green area and its small vegetable garden: they have thus created a shared facility, extremely well cared for, where everybody can find relaxation and take part in several activities. Such a small but vital area, for instance, is perfect for mothers and their children, as per their recent enthusiastic appreciation.
