Villa Bifulco

Villa Bifulco is a vesuvian villa in neoclassical style located along the Miglio d’Oro and perfectly integrated in the landscape. It was built in 1700 by Vincenzo Bifulco in Vanvitelli style, in order to produce wine on the fertile vesuvian soils; as a matter of fact, there is a wide and functional wine cellar in which it is possible to admire an enormous press of olive tree wood. This documents a thriving and conspicuous wine-producing activity together with fermentation tanks, vats for the crushing of grapes and other instruments used in the manufacturing process. The terraces of the villa face the Vesuvio, Monte Somma and the villa’s garden with its wine yard and citrus grove.

THE GARDEN
A thicket of camelias is present in Villa Bifulco’s garden and it includes about 30 specimens of camelias, wisterias, palms and yuccas.
