Villa Carelli Palombi, in Monteroni (Lecce), is an imposing medieval-style building, built in the early XX century and decorated with bougainvillaea.
Around the imposing structure, there is a park of about 7.4 acres, rich in herbs, a huge camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphor), pines and palms. There are also informal and formal green areas with citrus trees, hedges of boxwood (Buxus semperviren,) topiary pruned cypresses (Cupressus sempervirens), and a labyrinth.
A cave and some fake ruins are some of the elements of surprise typical of the very garden style.
