Villa Torri Giuliari is an XVIII/XIX-century building on three floors, with the coat of arms of the Giuliari family above the entrance. The courtyard with a well is located in front of the building and is near the former stables fitted with a portico and now housing a centre of spirituality; on the estate, there’s also the church of Santa Croce dating back to 1726, with a bell tower featuring with a clock.
Behind the palace, there is the Italian garden, which covers about 50 acres, including a hill which is served by a staircase decorated with greenery, fountains and statues, a pagoda and a belvedere-tower with Ghibelline battlements.
Two large downy oaks (Quercus pubescens), the greatest one with a circumference of 16.4 ft and some 5 centuries-old, are one of the most striking features of this green area. There is also a huge cedar (Cedrus deodara) about one century-old.
