This oasis offers some spectacular views thanks to its important tree heritage, 500.000 conifers, hundreds of colourful rhododendrons of various species, and blue hydrangeas that have found their ideal habitat right there. Three miles from Trivero, there’s “Conca dei Rododendri” (“the rhododendron dip”), built in the 1950s and 1960s and rearranged in recent years: it features red beeches, ash trees, meadowsweets, and heather intertwined with several white, pink, red and purple rhododendrons.
