The administration of the municipality of Ostellato realised the project CielOstellato Parco di Scultura Italiana Contemporanea, thanks to the financing of the European Community “Progetto Leader2”. It is located inside Oasi delle Vallette, which is contained in Parco del Delta del Po’, and it is with no doubt the most important attraction of Ostellato. It is a marvellous naturalistic place with a watery landscape characterised by a particular vegetation and protected animal species but also by a complex of woods and freshwater swamps. Because of these, it has been flanked by a net of services to allow a better fruition of the park, through structures like the swimming pool, the stable, the bike renting and the pier for river navigation. In addition to the restoration areas, in this extraordinary and changing environment it is also present the Osservatorio Astronomico, which is the only one under the sea level . In the park have been added also various sculptures between 1998 and 2000, which were realised by renowned and emerging artists chosen by the curator, Alfonso Panzetta, who had them positioned to make them become part of the park. The works find their inspiration in the astronomical observatory in Oasi delle Vallette: sky and stars, which together with the peculiar municipal toponym, have  created the Parco di Scultura of Cielostellato.
