HobbyFlor, by Michelangiolo Galitiza, is in Turri, in the heart of Marmilla, 37 miles from Cagliari. This nursery offers indoor plants, blooms, cut flowers and everything you need for cultivation, as well as designing service for parks and gardens, and decorations for ceremonies and events.

The nursery is also a park where, among centuries-old olive groves and roses, tulips and other spring bulbous plants thrive: in fact, there are some 150.000 tulips, buttercups, daffodils, anemones, and many other beautiful species.
The park is open from the end of February or March, depending on the weather and the blooms.

This nursery is actually organized as an exhibition area, with over 50.000 tulip bulbs of different species, and the “U-pick” area, where flowers can be actually collected. The visitors’ path stretches along 1,5 miles and is full of information panels about the history and the very features of the tulips.

The 5 Euro entrance ticket includes two free tulips, while each additional flower costs 1.50 Euros. Picnics are allowed in the equipped area, in the shade of ancient trees where visitors may also want to take some glorious pictures.
