Near the plantains, English yews and sequoias there is a collection of hydrangeas growing bigger and bigger.
It currently includes almost 2.000 plants of 300 varieties and varieties featuring both historical and most recent ones introduced in Europe.
Thus, the impressive collection offers H. involucrata, but also the “Midori Tama” species, with its white-green inflorescences and the central purple spot. It is unique in Italy, in terms of the number of specimens and diversity of species that gradually bloom from May to October.
